Scrap Metal (2002)

Notes

Scrap Metal was composed with self-created samples, all generated by the banging against a variety of rusty, metallic objects. Many of these sounds were subjected to manipulation through CSound, while some sounds managed to make it into the work in a pure, unaltered form. The resulting work sounds somewhat like a Javanese Gamelan in the hands of a bad-tempered rock musician.
