Android Dreams is a sister work to my orchestral work Electric Sheep in spirit alone. While they both derive their titles from the Phillip K. Dick short story "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep," they share little in common music-wise. All sounds used in Android Dreams were created by the saxophone - key clicks, arpeggios, slap-tongue, etc. Perhaps, in the future, androids will dream of saxophones as a result of this bizarre little work. Now there's a scary thought...
